Note

The Foundation has made two exceptions to its ‘Corte Madera only’ grant-making policy.  One was to fund a planter/seating-bench at the new Redwood High School Lunch Plaza in Larkspur, as it benefits the large number of Corte Madera students who attend Redwood.  (See photo at left of the Foundation’s gift.)

The other was a donation that came from a memorial fund the Foundation holds in the name of Gerrie Griffith Reichard, who had a lifelong interest in films.  The Foundation made a grant to the Lark Theater Foundation in her name to support community programming, which also benefits Corte Madera residents.
